Summary

Do you currently suffer from a Herpetic rash? You might eligible to enroll in a postherpatic neuralgia clinical trial here at our facility in DeLand, FL.  It’s not uncommon for people living with this condition to be unaware that they’d be able to participate in a study, so please contact us if you have any questions.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Can’t have a history of alcohol or substance abuse within the previous 5 years
  • Applicants who have participated in another investigational study within 30 days of screening aren’t eligible
  • Applicants who are pregnant or breast-feeding will not be eligible
  • Most of the studies we conduct are looking for volunteers who are at least 18

Compensation for Time and Travel

Study related care including physical examinations, laboratory services and study medications are all provided to participants free of charge. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions about how you can be compensated for your participation.

Postherpatic Neuralgia Symptoms

The symptoms of postherpatic neuralgia are usually localized to the area of the skin where the initial shingles outbreak occurred. In most cases, this presents as a band around one side of the torso. Patients with postherpatic neuralgia may experience itching, numbness, sensitivity to touch, weakness, or even minor paralysis.
